Christmas '09--Grandma and Grandpa's

The second installment of Christmas '09 will include pictures from Jace's nearly week-long stay at Grandma and Grandpa's. Jace arrived on Christmas Day and had an extended stay due to Aunt Erin and Uncle Tom not arriving until the next week. It proved to be just a little long for Jace as he really was missing Bubba and Daddy by the end (they had to leave the day after Christmas). Jace, however, slept like a king on Grandma's air mattress (as in he didn't get out of bed before 9 am EVER!!). Let's just say Mommy and Daddy immediately bought Jace his very own air mattress for at home.

The pictures are in no particular order as it would have taken Mommy quite a while to sift through them and she is baking chocolate lava cake as she types (which will need to be consumed very soon!).

Nana got Jace the book 'Going on a Bear Hunt' for Christmas. It was a hit. So much of a hit that it has been read literally hundreds of times already. Jace now has the story memorized...this is he and Erin acting it out. They are going on a bear hunt in this picture which consisted of crawling down the hall to look for a stuffed bear.

Jace spent Christmas night with his extended family on Grandma's side. He was a big boy at the kid's table



Jace received a whole band of instruments (think tambourines and maracas) from Fabulous Kay and Debbie (again NOT from Mommy). The adults performed their own rendition of Jingle Bells.



Jace and Mommy were able to catch up with some old high school and college friends while in town.
