Jacer had a big weekend complete with partying for the Panther game and coloring Easter Eggs.

Lexa did the same...but slept through most of it!

Panther Send-off

Daddy, Mommy, Jace, and Lexa went to see the Panthers leave town and head to St. Louis today. Jacer was able to get his picture taken with TC (the mascott he has said was his best friend all season), listen to Ben Jacobson talk, and get up close and personal with the players. Lexa slept...story of her life.

Pictures, Pictures!

So, Kansas got their Chalk ROCKED...by UNI!! Jacer and Lexa must be true lucky charms!! Other than obsessively watching basketball, not much has been new. Jace has been going to daycare to hang with his friends while Mommy and Lexa have some bonding time (watching basketball and shopping).

Miss Lexa had her 2-week checkup today and is doing awesome! She weighed in at just under 8 lbs (66th percentile) and was 20.25 inches long (79th percentile). She is still a dream baby and is starting to be awake for longer stretches during the day. She loves her food, her swing, and watching Jace and Ozzy.

Jace continues to do well with his baby sister....except for the Cheerio incident. Yes, he gave her a Cheerio! Luckily, he proudly told Mommy that he shared with Lexa and Mommy was able to get it out of her mouth before major damage happened.

1 week

Mommy can hardly believe that Miss Lexa is 1 week old already! She is the sweetest, most laid back baby in the world. Mommy has literally only heard her cry to eat...which she likes to do often. She has been waking up 1-2 times per night to eat and sometimes that is when Mommy wakes her!

Jace is doing well with his new sister. He talks to her in a super high pitched voice for a minute or two and then goes back about his business. He is back at daycare 3 days/week just to keep him in some sort of routine. It has been a little tough getting him there since everyone else is staying at home. Once he gets going though he always has a good time....mostly due to seeing his best bud Morgan (she was previously referred to as his girlfriend but now he says she is his best friend).

Mommy and Daddy are both doing well too. Daddy went back to work today but then has a couple more days off before really getting back to the grind. Mommy feels great....she can't believe how much easier the 2nd one is!! The doctors were right when they said the first child paves the way for the rest!
