Just a quick note....today's appointment said 3 cm dilated and 80% effaced! Woot woot Peanette!!

To Be a Carefree 3-year-old.....

If Mommy were a carefree 3-year-old:

She wouldn’t worry about eating 2 chocolate donuts for breakfast



She would play so hard and intently that she would nearly forget about going potty...and subsequently walk like this to make it in time



She would think it was hilarious to make silly dinosaur faces



She would be so excited about her new baby sister...having not a clue how her life was about to change.

A Peanette Evolves.......

Don't ya love how the first 4 months fit on 1 and the last 4 had to be separated cause Mommy's belly was too big to fit into those little columns!

9 Months!!! Warning: Very Scary!

Ok, you were warned:





EEK!! Mommy can't believe she can grow any larger. Unfortunately it is inevitable. There will be no more pics until she heads to the hospital though. Speaking of, Mommy was 1-2 centimeters dilated today and 50% effaced! It took 2 hours of Pitocen to get that far with Jacer. Yipee for progress!
Also, Peanette is still head down. It is a for sure thing this time....because the Dr. was able to touch her head. Yikes.

Eviction Notice

Mommy is issuing a 30 day notice for EVICTION. Tenant will have 30 days in which she can either gather her belongings and promptly vacate the premises, or wait until the final day. After which, she will be physically removed from the property.

She's being evicted due to breech of contract and destruction of property. Expansions only to the FRONT of the house, within reasonable limits, were discussed. Not only have these limits been exceeded, but additions to the back of the house were also made!

Remodeling and gutting of the home was never approved, nor was changing the initial layout and base structure. And due to property damage, there are now leaks in both the upper AND lower levels of the home. On top of which, the landlord has received numerous complaints about nightly disturbances.

After 30 days from this day that she doesn’t comply with the notice will result in immediate and forceful removal at Mommy's discretion.

This is what you get when Jace gets ahold of your camera. He just can't figure out that it needs to face the other way to capture an image other than himself. It throws him that the button needs to be pressed with his right hand to take an actual picture. He turns it around so he can use his left hand. Darn leftys in a right-handed world.

Valentine's Day!

Jace's Valentine's Day began on Friday with his daycare party. He took Spiderman Valentine's and suckers. It took a while on Thursday night for him to pick out which one he wanted to give to each kid in his class.....yellow vs. green is a big deal! He only has 7 other kids in his room and they are all girls! Surely they loved the superhero cards!



Jace came home sugared up with a ring on his finger.....and a lot of Barbie and Princess cards. He could have cared less since there was plenty of candy involved.



Today, Jacer spent a quiet day at home with Mommy and Daddy. He even got some presents...imagine that!





Grandma and Grandpa gave him this cool food set. The food is stuck together with velcro and you cut it apart on a cutting board with a little wooden knife. He thinks he is hot stuff.



Mommy had some candy stashed for Jacer but held off as it looks like little man may be getting sick. Ugg....Jace hasn't been sick (other than his ears) since he was about 15 months old. He is probably due.....

Visitors etc.

Jace has had many visitors as of late. It seems people are trying to get one more visit in with Jacer before he has a little sister move in.

Two weeks ago, Erin spent the entire weekend with Jace...and he loved every minute. That Sunday, Grandma and Aunt Kay visited for the day.

This past Sunday, Nana came for the day. Jacer had a great time again and tried everything in his power to get her to stay when it was time to leave.

Aside from out of town visitors, Jace has been spending plenty of time with Daddy. They continue to go to UNI games (Jace says the Black Bear...better known as TC the Panther..is his best friend)and just hang out at home.

Today is another snow day for Mommy and Jace so they are spending it doing Peanette's laundry (is it bad that it took Mommy nearly 20 minutes to cut tags off?) and making cookies.

Jace: Mommy, Morgan is having a baby. (This is his favorite little girl at daycare he often refers to as his girlfriend.) It's a girl and it moves in her belly.
Mommy: AHHHHH! (Mommy thought she wouldn't be having this conversation for at least another decade!!)

Mariah Carey fan

Apparently Mommy has a Mariah Carey fan on her hands because Peanette followed the music and is now head down.....they think. Mommy's next appointment is when they begin checking to see if she is dialated so the Dr. said they would definitely be able to tell then....like if she can feel a head. Ok. Anyway, Mommy is very relieved and has made a mental note to get some MC ready for night time lullabies!
Sorry about the lack of pics this morning but Jace and Mommy are off to the movies! Maybe later today you can see some of the stud. The stud who wore underwear all night last night. Even though he has been dry overnight for 3 weeks or so, Mommy was still putting him in a pullup overnight just in case....for her own good basically. Last night Jace decided that was crazy and he could keep his Thomas undies on. He was right! What a stud!
Geesh, Mommy has a stud and a studette for her children. How lucky is she!!

Simple Things.

A blog that Mommy reads daily had a post today about enjoying the ‘simple things’ in life. Mommy thought it would be fitting to share the ‘simple things’ that have gotten her through pregnancy to this point.

Caffeine-free Mt. Dew...ahhh.

Tums.

A potty-trained 3-year old.

The fact that February, the only month standing in the way of the ‘big event’, just so happens to be the shortest month of the year!!
