Kansas City Dos!

The 2nd KC trip of the summer (for Lexa and Mommy anyway) was a success! Plenty of fun (especially for Jace), relaxing, and good food. Of course the company was not too bad either!

A bigger car was needed to accommodate 2 carseats and a 90 lb dog. Taking the Jeep was a MUCH better idea and gave Mommy's (however short they may be) legs just a smidge more room.

The first order of duty upon arrival, was taking Jacer to the mall. When Mommy and Grandma were visiting a few weeks ago they spotted this jumping, bungy type thing they knew Jace would love. They were right on the mark. He was so silly, even doing the splits in the air!

Check out that air! If Mommy were one to brag she would point out how much higher Jace is getting than the girl next to him...but since she doesn't brag....

Jace got to meet up with Preston and Ashten...a couple of buddies he rarely sees these days. They hadn't even met Lexa yet! Anyway, it was a fun day of visiting the dinosaur exhibit and a model railroad museum.

Checking out all those awesome things makes a person work up an appetite! Mommy got her all time favorite...Brio! She doesn't have any photographic proof because she was busy EATING! She does however, have visual memories of eating cupcakes with her best little man.

Cheers! Cheers to a PB & J cupcake for Mommy...the lover of peanut butter herself! Put it in or on anything and she's happy...but a cupcake? Bliss!





The sleeping situation at Erin and Tom's was great. Mommy and Daddy had the bed in the spare room. Lexa had her pack and play. Jace had a sleeping bag on the floor. So what is wrong with this picture??


Once again, everyone ended up in the same bed. To be fair, it wasn't until almost 7 am. However, check out the eeeny weeny space left for Mommy!

Sunday was another scorcher so everyone decided to hit the pool.

It's sad when your Uncle has to teach you to swim because all your Mommy can do is doggie paddle...no matter how skillful that doggie paddle may be.
