This and That.

This post is full of randomness! Because that's pretty much what's in Mommy's head this Saturday morning. Full of random white noise.

Awwww. A boy and his puppy. Notice by the smile, he was slightly aware Mommy caught them laying like this. AND, just so everyone is clear....Jace does indeed have legs.

Check out this 'do! Courtesy of Tricia. It's a heart!

Sadly, fall soccer has ended. Jace loved it and made some huge improvements this season. He still seems to be in it primarily for the social aspect but his skills are coming along as an added bonus.
Jace, Foster, and Charlie...both friends from preschool that are attending different schools for kindergarten.

Lexa and Josie watching their big brothers play. Josie is 3 and may be in preschool with Lexa next fall.  These girls tore up the playground this soccer season!

Connor and Jacer after their last game.

As much as this picture begs to differ, these kids do get out. They are not however, used to fancy new appliances. Aren't these some of the most beautiful things you've ever seen? Mommy isn't even requiring undies to be turned inside out and worn one more time before washing anymore. Oh she is kidding. Really kidding.

Drumroll please...................

Jace's Kindergarten pictures are in.......
Ooooh....Ahhhhh. Isn't he sweet?
Mommy is entirely unsure why she is adding pictures of children eating.  Except that's all she's got. A few recent pictures from dinner.

Lovely aren't they?
And one more....Someone always has to be sticking their tongue out. One day. One day, there will be a picture of 2 smiling faces. Both looking at the camera. One day.

Say What?!

You are probably wondering what is up with the blog posting frenzy this week? Mommy has no clue! But Lexa was so funny this morning she had to share. Her story started about 15 minutes before Mommy started recording but the girl never quit talking so Mommy finally get out the camera. Lexa's story makes absolutely no sense. She just likes to hear her own voice. And frankly, so does Mommy.

Oh the stench.....

Be glad that you are only seeing these shoes via the internet. In person, you want a good 5-10 feet between you and them. They STINK! The totally weird part is that they smell exactly like Daddy's. And Jace being only 5 does not exactly bode well for his shoes at 15.

Little Miss. That's all.
Awww. Aren't they cute? All snuggled up watching tv. You will notice that Jace's shoes are nowhere in sight. They are quarantined at night.

Now that Mommy is fairly certain you are getting the idea that Jace's shoes stink, she will leave you. Leave you so she can go spray another dose of odor eaters in them.

Happy Birthday Grandma Rosie!

Jace and Lexa helped Grandma Rosie celebrate her birthday this weekend. Fun was had. Keep reading...

Ok, this wasn't from the birthday celebration but Mommy had to include it. Boots, attitude and all.

Lexa took a bit to warm up but once she did she was on fire. So on fire, she kicked her shoe off in a fit of rage when it was time to go. She wanted to spend the night at Ali's.

Jacer shooting his paper airplane. Somehow, someone started throwing paper wads at him across the table. He thoroughly enjoyed it. However, if a note gets sent home from school because Jace was throwing paper, Mommy knows where you all live.

Lexa discussing the ways of the world with Uncle Keith.

More discussions with Papa and Uncle Keith.

A smidge blurry (lack o' photography skills) but cute nonetheless.

And finally, the birthday girl with 2 of her great-grandchildren!
That's all folks!!

The Post with Not-So-Great Pictures.

Poor picture quality seems to be the theme of this post. Although the photographer's skills have been known to be questionable at times. Roll with it. You will see pictures from Rodeo weekend and Jace's 1st fall soccer game!

Aunt Erin and Fabulous Aunt Kay ran in the Stampede 5k run before the parade Saturday. Actually Keegan participated in his first race too! Mommy sat out. Because there was no more room in the stroller for her.

Jacer on a sugar high during the parade.

Lexa just sat back and let the candy find her.

The last picture from rodeo. And not a good one. Mommy warned you.

1st soccer practice for Kindergarten/1st soccer league!

Lexa gives her support at soccer practice by going down the slide.
The end. Of the post with the not-so-great pictures. Or commentary.

2 1/2...going on 12.

Lexa Bean is 2 1/2 tomorrow! So hard to believe yet so believable since she already acts like a teenager at times.

Lexa, at 2 1/2 you:

*wear mostly 2T clothes (although 18 or 24 months are not out of the question). Wear a size 6 shoe. And what size diaper? Oh yes, NO DIAPER! You have been potty trained for about a month now and are doing swell!

*weigh about 24 lbs. and are 34 inches tall. Keep in mind that these are Mommy's measures but they are probably close enough.

*love to color and read books. Your favorite color is blue and your favorite book is Clifford Goes to School. You ask for it constantly and have the majority of it memorized.

*know all of your colors, your abc's, count to 15, and are beginning to identify some letters.

*are very girly. You LOVE having your nails done and wearing fun clothes. You are not as in to your hair but you are becoming more willing to let Mommy mess with that mop you have. You have not yet had your first haircut.

*love playing with babies. You are somewhat into Dora and barbies but you do not yet have an obsession like your brother always did. You do not watch tv yet....as much as Mommy has tried....just for 5 minutes. Please!

*LOVE playing outside. Your activity of choice at the park is the swings but you also enjoy the slide and are much more of a daredevil than Jace was.

*TALK, TALK, TALK. You talk all. the. time. You can talk for an hour without anyone else saying anything. Seriously. It has been witnessed. As much as this pleases the Speech Pathologist in your Mommy, she just has to sigh at times too.

*like to eat chicken nuggets, apples, avocado, apple juice, and suckers. Your newest obsession is gum. Oh the gum. Another sigh.

*love your brother. You fight more these days than ever before but you look up to him very much. You copy whatever he is doing no matter if it makes sense. You imitate most of what he says and want to do everything he does. All you want to be when you grow up is in kindergarten. You are also a big fan of Ozzy and Reggie...who both are very patient with you and your hugs and kisses.

*are extremely strong willed. Nobody is going to push you around and you have no qualms letting your opinion be known. Mommy loves this about you but it is tough to deal with in a 2-year old sometimes. But Mommy knows you are going to be something big. People love you and you have a way of sucking them in. Lexa Bean is gonna be HUGE someday!!

Happy 1/2 birthday Bean!

Not good.

Mommy's lack of recent posting is not good. Not good at all. Sincere apologies. Now let her explain what has been happening.

Jace had school picture day. He wanted to smile EXACTLY like he did in preschool. So this  was it. Well this was him practicing. Turns out, when the time came, in the heat of the moment, he totally switched up his smile! That little daredevil! Mommy will post the evidence when the pictures come back.

This. This was not meant to be on here. But it was a determined little booger. Mommy tried not selecting it from her list of pictures. Somehow it got uploaded. Next, she tried not selecting it to be added to this post. Somehow it got added. So, here is Lexa. Close up.

Next, was Sean Sawyer Day! And the parade preparations. For those of you who don't know, Sean Sawyer Day is an annual event held at Cousin Tracy (you may also know her as Ashlan's mommy...well now Hayden's too) and Sean's house. And there is a parade! So, the Auge Family decided to put together a float for this year. This picture depicts Grandma and Fab. Aunt Kay hard at work at the t-shirts. Unfortunately there were several spelling mishaps (Grandma...ahem) but Mommy won't get into that.....Auge is a hard word to spell. As is 3rd.

Fabulous Aunt Kay holding the Auge banner and a picture of her children Cory and Grant who were unable to make the event. Pictures were put on sticks and carried in the parade to commemorate those absent. That's why you shoulda been there people!

Jacer and Lexa before the parade. The front of the shirts said, Auge. The back said their names and 3rd generation. Mommy's said 2nd generation, and Grandma's said 1st generation. You get the idea.

The 2 suckers (Mommy only says this because there shirts said so) leading the Auge group. In case anyone is curious the sign says, Auge-a nickname given to someone with a defect. (Yes, that is the actual definition of Auge). Underneath it said, 3 generations of family.

Mommy carrying Erin's sign. She also received a shot of cocoa tequila before the parade. Erin, not Mommy. Well ok, Mommy did too but the point was that she shared with Erin's picture. Just to honor her.

Another daredevil move! What's happening to the kid?!

And finally, the bouncy house....which was present at Sean Sawyer Day and Plantation Day the very next day at Kay's house. Unfortunately Mommy did not get the picture of herself and Kay doing the splits in the bouncy house. Sorry. Or your welcome. You pick.
