8 months old is the little lady named Lexa today. She's a crazy thing. A tiny bundle of energy!
Lexa, at 8 months you:
*weigh 16 lbs, 14 oz and are 26 1/2 inches long. It's strange because you aren't short on chub (although you are short) but you are just so tiny looking. People are always commenting on how petite you are. Must have gotten that from Daddy.
*wear 6-9 month clothes and a size 3 diaper.
*love to eat! You have mastered the art of puffs and enjoy putting anything and everything in your mouth. You have started to eat more and more table food and love every minute of it. You are still nursing but have just (FINALLY) decided that a bottle is not going to be the death of you. Mommy loves nursing but would really like to quit pumping at work as it's a big 'ol hassle. You actually taking a bottle is tempting her....
*crawl and pull yourself up to your knees. You try and try to get to your feet but just haven't gotten there yet.
*love your brother. (Mommy should just copy and paste this for every month because so far it hasn't changed.)
*just learned to wave but are still a little inconsistent at performing. Not that Mommy would ever try and make you perform right.
*are a dream to put to bed at night. 7 pm, Mommy lays you down with your eyes wide open and you roll over and go to sleep. Theeeen, it all comes crumbling down. What's up with that little lady? If Mommy has to write that you are still constantly waking up on your 9-month post it's not gonna be good. Anyway, you are also a great napper. Pretty typically you nap from 9-10 in the morning and then 12-2 in the afternoon.
*love to hear Mommy and Jace sing the ABC's, Twinkle Twinkle, and any other random, off key thing they can think of.
*are so much fun and make every day special. Mommy was just thinking about how every day is like Christmas because she gets to wake up and see what you and your brother will do and learn. You are loved lots and lots Bean!
A couple other 8-month shots....
