Superhero day. And a wedding.

The contents of this post are somewhat random but they occurred on the same day so you are getting them together. First, it was free comic book day at the comic book store. Which included appearances by many of the superheroes! To say Jace was ecstatic would be an understatement.

The highlight of Jace's year...possibly life.  He and Spiderman and Captain America.....both were on the roof by the end!

 Following Superhero day, Jace and Lexa headed to a wedding. Because that makes sense. You know, once they were sure the city was protected. Anyway, here are a few pics from the night.

And finally....this picture really does not do justice to the situation. Lexa was bound and determined to kiss this poor little boy. She started slow and got more aggressive. It finally ended in her grabbing his face with both hands and going in for the kiss. He ran away.

Soccer...and then some (a little).

Sadly, the soccer season ended last night. The Blue Knighters finished out with a record of 0 and something. They were not the most...intense of teams. Much time was spent picking flowers, comparing undershirts, and even doing headstands at times. But, they had fun and learned a bit about soccer so that's all that matters. And it provided quite a bit of entertainment for the fans. Below are some pictures of the final soccer game with a few others mixed in. You had to see a little of Lexa too!

Jace learned to make ladybugs at his kindergarten visit day and wanted to replicate them at home the other day. Nilla wafers, red frosting, and chocolate chips. The kids enjoyed them. Almost as much as Mommy....

Such a little Mommy. She has a baby with her 90% of the time.

Last night of soccer. It is coed so the shades are nearly as important as the shin guards.

Lately.

Jace and Lexa have been busy having fun lately. Jacer had a swimming party last weekend so he stayed home with Daddy while Lexa and Mommy had a girl's weekend in Des Moines. Other fun just comes naturally on a daily basis. See for yourself.

Confidence is not a problem for this one. She requested a picture one morning because she thought she looked cute.

Easter 2012 (and a little soccer)

Easter 2012 was spent at Nana and Papa's hanging out with them, Grandma Rosie, Ali, and Steven. Lexa, of course took a liking to Steven. She even told him at one point, "I'll be right back Steven". Silly girl! You may also notice that her dress is not exactly 'Eastery'. That would be because she did not want to wear her Easter dress. And if Lexa doesn't want to, you can be sure she ain't gonna.

 Jace also had his first night of soccer this week. He LOVED it! It was cold and he didn't pee before so he ran around holding himself all night...but he LOVED it!

Audition Tape for American Idol??

Aunt Rita sends musical cards for every holiday. Jace and Lexa have been singing this song for 2 days and Mommy FINALLY recognized it from the card tonight. It is a somewhat sad rendition but cute nonetheless.
