And even a little naughtiness.........



Oh yes. And there have been lessons learned. Do not leave makeup unattended when Lexa is in the house.

Turkey Day 2011

Turkey Day 2011 was spent at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Jace, Lexa, and Mommy were there for the whole weekend with Daddy joining when he wasn't working. The added bonus was Tom, Erin, and Keegan's presence. Check out all the fun!

Lexa is not shy. She actually may have moved a couple of kids to get a front row seat at the Christmas parade.....

Thanksgiving at Nana and Papa's!

Mommy must explain...she has FINALLY put iphoto on her computer and is FINALLY able to successfully get pictures on her computer...and then actually find them again. The problem now is her editing abilities. The download she used on her work computer is not compatible with a mac. Sigh. It would seem she could very easily use the photoshop she so desperately wanted and received last Christmas. If only she could figure out how to work it. So, please disregard the lack of photo editing and any red eyes. Mommy is making progress people. In time you will be seeing nicely edited photos again. Ok, on to the pictures.....

Reading. It does a kid good. And a Mommy because it involves SILENCE!

Jace's turkey he made at school. He also made an apple turkey complete with marshmallows and fruit loops. That one is not pictured because it was eaten within 2 seconds of coming in the door. Poor turkey.



And finally, one of the upsides of being tiny. You can fit in your doll's stroller and have your brother take you on a spin through the house!

how lucky Mommy feels to be this little guy's mama......



He is such a sweet genuine soul. Tonight when he was upset because he couldn't watch a movie he said, "Mommy, I still like you, I'm just mad at you right now".

After Mommy told him what a responsible thing that was to say he decided he was no longer mad and wanted to recount his entire day. It included talking about his friend Emily at school. She apparently just got tubes in her ears. He told Mommy that he was "keeping Emily in his foughts (thoughts)".

What a little dream boat.

Cousin Keegan

Cousin Keegan is a hit with Jace and Lexa. They were so excited he was able to come and visit last weekend. Of course they were mildly happy to see Aunt Erin as well. Kona is an added bonus. Poor old Ozzy has slowed down so much he just doesn't get in to Kona's..ummmm...antics as much anymore. Grandma even made it for some of the fun on Sunday. She made Jace's entire year by bringing him a spiderman t-shirt. Ah the little things.

Saturday was the last day of swim lessons. Can Mommy get an AMEN! Water just isn't Jace's forte. He unfortunately has worn out his welcome in the preschool class. Mommy isn't sure if there is a limit on how many times you can take the class without passing so she is calling it a day and giving Jacer a break. Cross your fingers swim lessons in the summer go over better.



For those of you who don't know, Lexa is extremely into coloring, makeup, and tattoos. Yes, tattoos. Not a good combination. She frequently either gives herself a tattoo or puts on makeup with her markers. This particular night was makeup. The picture does not do it justice. She gave new meaning to light blue eyeshadow.




She does love her 3D glasses.....



Mommy has never claimed she wasn't a smidge odd. Lexa, not Mommy. Mommy is totally normal.
