Christmas 2013

The Christmas festivities are going to be presented in reverse order. Because Mommy once again got them from her phone. Don't worry, they are just as fun backwards. Enjoy!

 She used an abundance of sugar. And most of you know an 'abundance' of sugar in Mommy's head is more like sugar coma to most.

Before her winter party at dance. They did a gift exchange and Lexa received a notebook and pen with 3 colors of nail polish. Pretty much perfect for Bean.
Ok so that is it for now. Just so everyone knows the phone post was a giant plop. It extended about 5 days until Mommy finally gave up and finished on the computer. So much for shortcuts. Until next time!

The Weekend 'O Jace

The past weekend was devoted to Jace. It was full of fun activities he was participating in beginning with a karate promotion on Saturday and followed by a Christmas Program on Sunday. He is such a great kid so a weekend for just him was very well deserved. Check out all the action!

During a break, Jace's karate instructor took Lexa out and showed her how to punch. Mommy thought it was pretty cute.

He earned his blue belt! He has been doing this a year in January and has went from white, yellow, orange, and now blue. Not bad for a 6 year old!

You will notice that Mommy's next career will most certainly be in cake decorating. If not baking. Actually these turned out GOOD! Even in normal people standards and not just Mommy's baking standards.

Thanks to Fabulous Aunts Kay and Debbie for coming to cheer Jace on! He loved having an audience!

Thanks to Nana and Papa for making the snowy drive to see Jace in his program. Again...he loves an audience! 

Thanksgiving! And a bunch of other things!

Hawkeye is such a diva. He spends a large amount of time laying on the heater vent. If there was a spa for dogs he would be there.

Miss Sassy pants. Or boots. Or mittens. 

Thanksgiving morning Mommy and Fabulous Aunt Kay ran in a 4 mile turkey run....the plan was to run casually.  It started out great until Kay spotted competition. Mommy spent the rest of the time trying to keep up with her! Which resulted in her cold getting a tad worse and actually losing her voice!

Most of you know that Mommy's domestic skills are...lacking. She was put in charge of peeling potatoes. She and Jace were trying to figure the whole thing out and took a series of pictures on the phone. They crack Mommy up looking back now.

There were several visits to 10th Street with cousin Keegan!

Saturday night at the Petersen Plantation got a little rowdy. Ryan showed up with a golf club full of alcohol. It squirted out alcohol. There may or may not have been 'keg stands' done after Grandma attempted this shot.

While the adults were having fun the kids were dog piling on eachother!

Sunday, Jace and Lexa went out to eat only to find Santa was there!

Big news!! Hawkeye graduated from Puppy Kindergarten last night! Mommy is still skeptical but they gave him a certificate.....

And after graduating, he promptly ate some of the St. Nick treats left in the kids' shoes this morning. Note the chewed up box Jace is holding.....
