Bath and Thumb Time!

Jace is REALLY trying to find his thumb! Actually at this point it's his whole fist! It takes him about 3 wobbles before he hits his target (his mouth). Once he gets it in there he's a happy camper though. The rest of the pictures are of bath time. You can see he isn't too sure about the water yet!! He loves it once he's out and gets to put on his slippers.

ICE ICE BABY

Jace survived his first ice/snow storm. It was a long weekend--especially when the power went out for a while. We bundled Jace up since we had no heat but luckily it came back on in about an hour. We spent the weekend just hanging out--which I guess Jace does every day anyway.

SNOW, SNOW, SNOW

Jace's first 'girl's weekend' has been offically snowed out! He is really bummed because he was looking forward to seeing Grandma and his Great Aunts and cousins. He would have loved to have shown off the new pounds and inches he's gained since they saw him a couple of weeks ago. Since it looks like a long weekend stuck inside, we decided to post a few more pics. A couple are with mommy and daddy and the others were too cute not to post.

Jace's first 6 weeks

Jace's first 6 weeks have been very exciting! Although he has been stuck inside because of the COLD he has managed to have LOTS of visitors and even made his first trip to Fort Madison to see Grandma and Grandpa Fraune. He is still doing great at night sleeping 6-8 hours at a time most nights. He loves his brother Ozzy--they can entertain eachother for quite a while! Jace also loves his Baby Einstein Gym and of course his swing! We have unofficial measurments but according to Mommy and Daddy's calculations Jace is around 11 lbs and 24 inches. Apparently he didn't get his height from mommy!!
