Big Boy Jace

Mr. Jace has been busy being a big boy! It all started with him taking a bath without the infant sling. Admitedly he probably could have done this weeks ago but many of you know how not so great mommy is in the water so she was overly cautious.
He did superb and gave his abs quite the workout for the first few minutes he spent holding his legs up out of the water. Finally fatigue gave in and he was able to submerge them and actually kind of like it.

Next came vast improvement with Jace's pod. He can now balance himself for several minutes and even manages to get some playing done at the same time---he's a multi-tasker!

Jace's next big boy step came with his beloved swing. We finally made the big move--from cradle swing to sit up swing. He took to it kind of slowly at first--he did sleep in it for 3 weeks!--but after a few tries he discovered there were some pretty cool nick-nacks to play with. Sitting up also means more time to observe the wild and crazy Ozzy.

Next on Jace's agenda was picture day! He did very well and got quite a kick out of the girl taking the pictures. She got not only smiles but several belly laughs from him. He even posed on his tummy for a couple of pictures!!

Last but definitely not least, was Jace's visit with the Easter Bunny. Jace was a little under the weather and was not in the greatest of moods but pretty much stopped in his tracks when he saw the big, furry bunny talking to him. He allowed Mr. Easter Bunny to hold him for several pictures and was very wide eyed the entire time he was in the presence of the bunny.
